The Philadelphia University chapter of the Black Retail Action Group (BRAG) will host its annual "Talkin' Fashion" event on April 17. BRAG is a national nonprofit organization that focuses on preparing minority students for leadership positions in the fashion industry.

At "Talkin' Fashion," local industry leaders will share tips and tricks on breaking into design, retail, merchandising or entrepreneurship during a panel discussion and Q&A session.

The 2016 panelists include stylist Devon Milan and the designer duo of Jeantrix, among others.

Kanbar Living Room and Performance Space on Philadelphia University's campus will host the event, which will have a circus theme. Food and drinks will be provided to attendees while they mingle.

Those on campus can score $7 advance tickets from Kanbar. They will be $10 at the door.
