More than 100 artists and makers will sell handmade work at Linvilla Orchards’ Arts & Craft Festival on Sept. 12-13.
Linvilla Orchards will welcome the fall season with a weekend of handmade art, live music and pumpkin-filled fun. More than 100 artists and makers will set up around the Media farm for its annual Arts & Craft Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13. The outdoor event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Shoppers can browse colorful pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, woodwork, textiles, glass, metal art and home décor while talking directly with the people who created each piece. Participating artists must sell their own work rather than mass-produced merchandise.
Live music and seasonal food will add to the atmosphere throughout the weekend. The Farm Market and Garden Center will also be open for anyone looking to stock up on produce, baked goods, plants or fall decorations.
The timing makes it easy to turn the festival into a full day at the orchard. Pumpkinland opens the same weekend, bringing pumpkins, scarecrows and oversized harvest displays back to the farm.
Hayrides, mazes, Apple Blasters and other seasonal attractions also will be available separately. Fees apply to some activities.
If bad weather cancels both festival days, Linvilla has scheduled rain dates for Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20.
