A man was killed after being struck by the RiverLine in South Jersey.

A man died after being struck by a Trenton-bound RiverLine train just before 11 a.m. Monday, according to NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that the trespasser ran onto track and made no attempt to move,” she said.

Service is temporarily suspended between 36th Street in Camden and Route 73, Snyder said.

Bus services have been ordered to help customers between those two points.

No customers or NJ Transit staff members were injured.
