Kristen Oswald, of Royersford, Montgomery County, died during an Ironman triathlon in Ohio on Sunday after being struck by a commercial truck struck while she was cycling on the course.

A Montgomery County man is wanted for allegedly punching a woman because her cell phone wouldn’t stop ringing.

An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for Dominic Isaish Ockimey, 26, of Stowe after police responded to a domestic dispute in Lower Pottsgrove Township.

Ockimey and the woman were in a vehicle together when the victim’s phone began ringing. Ockimey became upset when the phone did not stop, police said.

He then allegedly punched the woman in the face, temporarily knocking her unconscious, police said.

She awoke and fled the vehicle, yelling for help. Ockimey allegedly chased her around the car, and eventually caught up to her. The two wrestled and Ockimey allegedly pulled her hair, according to police, before neighbors intervened.

The alleged assault took place a half mile away from the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department.

Ockimey is wanted on two counts of simple assault and one count of harassment, according to the warrant issued on Feb. 7.
