Police are hoping to learn the identity of this man, who they are seeking to question in a sexual assault that occurred on July 12. Law enforcement officials have said they would also like to question this individual about the killing of Rickie Morgan, whose body was found on a Kensington sidewalk last weekend.

Philadelphia police released new surveillance footage Friday morning of a man sought for questioning in a pair of sexual assaults – including one that ended in a woman's death.

The new video can be seen here:

This store surveillance footage, taken following a 12:30 a.m. sexual assault that occurred July 12 shows a different angle of the wanted individual – and a better view of his face – than a video from the same store released earlier this week

In the July 12 incident, police said a 24-year-old woman told them a man had approached her from behind and choked her until she passed out. When she woke up, the woman said she found herself in the rear of a property in the 3800 block of Jasper Street. She had head and facial injuries and was transported to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his 30s with a full mustache and beard. He was believed to be wearing a blue or gray-colored jacket, a two-tone backpack (lighter-colored on top and darker-colored on the bottom), dark-colored shorts, dark-colored socks, dark-colored high-top sneakers with white soles and a baseball cap with a V-shaped logo and a sticker on the top of the bill.

In that incident, law enforcement officials said the male was riding a blue and black mountain bike with what appeared to be a headlight or reflector on the front.

Earlier this week, police spokesperson Lt. John Stanford said this man is also being sought in connection with the homicide of Rickie Morgan, a 35-year-old woman whose nude body was found on the sidewalk along the 2400 block of Jasper Street in Kensington on Saturday.

Women on Kensington Avenue, who identified themselves as prostitutes, told PhillyVoice earlier this week that they believe the man is targeting drug users because they are vulnerable.
