Police said three people were injured when at least two dozen shots were fired in Point Breeze late Tuesday night, CBSPhilly reports.

The shooting occurred just after 11:30 p.m. outside a home on the 1800 block of S. 30th St.

Police found two men with bullet wounds at the home. A 20-year-old was struck in his foot and lower back. A 22-year-old had gunshot wounds in both of his legs.

The men, who police say had been sitting on the porch, ran inside to escape the gunfire. Two women who were inside the home were not struck.

"We know 24 shots were fired, at least, because we found 24 spent shell casings, all in the 1800 block of S. 30th St.," Chief Inspector Scott Small told CBSPhilly. "After being shot, both victims ran inside the house and then were subsequently transported to the hospital by private auto."

The victims are in stable condition at Penn Presbyterian Hospital. Police said a third man was shot in the hip around 19th and Tasker streets.

The case is being treated as a triple shooting.
