Scenes and live video from the National Women's March in Philly

The Benjamin Franklin Parkway was filled with protesters Saturday who joined thousands upon thousands in Washington D.C. and across the globe to march for women's rights and in defiance of President Donald Trump, who was sworn into office Friday.

Scenes from the National Women's March flooded social media as the rally took place.

Marchers carried signs with messages that ranged from supporting reproductive rights, to calls for equal pay, to criticisms of Trump's rhetoric on the campaign trail.

Saturdays marches aimed to be more civil and orderly than the chaos that ensued during Friday's D.C. protests, in which more than 200 arrests were made.
