Trader Joe's, Van Camp's and Genova canned tuna products have been voluntarily recalled by Tri-Union Seafoods because they may be contaminated with clostridium botulinum, the bacteria that can cause botulism. Some of these products were sold at Trader Joe's and Walmart stores in Pennsylvania and Walmart.

Chronic Hepatitis C cases fell from 2013 to 2023 in Philadelphia, a new city report shows. Nearly 57% of the people diagnosed with the viral illness in that time have been cured. Hepatitis, which has several forms, can lead to liver failure, cancer and death. Most new cases have been linked to the opioid epidemic and people who use drugs.
