Eagles vs. 49ers: Five matchups to watch

Ugh. With the Philadelphia Eagles sitting at 0-2-1 and playing like one of the worst teams in the NFL, it is going to be difficult to look forward to upcoming games, from a matchup perspective. For some, winning games might not even be a good thing, long-term. Still, pathetic as this fact may be, the Eagles are only a half-game out of first place in the craptastic NFC East, so we'll forge ahead with our five matchups to watch against the San Francisco 49ers.

Week 3 non-Eagles rooting guide

In case you're new year, each week we take a look at all the other games going on around the league, and point out the outcomes that will favor the Philadelphia Eagles. Handing out 10 awards from the Eagles-Bengals game

The only sure thing heading into the Philadelphia Eagles' matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals was that both teams wouldn't lose. As it turned out, neither of them lost, as they dueled to a 23-23 tie with one of the more pathetic overtimes you'll ever see. As always, win or lose, or tie, I guess, we hand out 10 awards.

Eagles-Bengals Week 3 inactives, with analysis
