The historic Beury Building in North Philadelphia, affectionately called the "Boner 4ever"building after its prominent graffiti, is being redeveloped into a Marriott Hotel with restaurants and a rooftop bar. Developer Shift Capital has a proposed an eight-story addition to the structure at 3701 N. Broad St., allowing for more hotel rooms. Later phases of the project call for a neighboring residential building that will include affordable and market-rate housing.

Philadelphia political consultant Rasheen Crews has been charged with forgery and related offenses for allegedly falsifying signatures on the nominating petitions of several judicial candidates ahead of the 2019 Democratic primary. The candidates were not aware of the fraud, according to investigators.

Grace and Proper, a new bar from the owners of Hawthornes, will open Friday, Nov. 18, at 941 S. 8th St. in South Philly. The corner store property was formerly the site of G.T. Manilo Drugs and Sam Grasso's grocery store. The Eurobar restaurant will feature of menu of Portuguese-inspired food and wines, with a bar that will be set up to view soccer games.

A total of 28 migrants arrived in Philadelphia Wednesday morning aboard a charter bus sent by Texas, which has redirected people who cross the southern border to sanctuary cities elsewhere in the United States. A child who was aboard the bus was taken to the emergency department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for an illness, Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole said.

Philadelphia welcomed a group of asylum-seeking migrants who arrived Wednesday morning on a bus traveling from Texas. The bus arrived at 30th Street Station around 6 a.m., carrying an estimated 30 people including families and some children, city officials said. The bus is the first to arrive in Philadelphia since Texas Greg Abbott began sending buses full of migrants to other sanctuary cities in U.S., including Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. The policy has drawn rebuke from critics who call it cruel, misleading and politically motivated.

Actor John Aniston and his daughter, "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston, lived in Eddystone, Delaware County, just outside Chester, Pennsylvania, during the early year's of Jennifer's life. John Anniston, who died Nov. 11 at age 89, moved the family to New York when he began to get bigger roles on daytime TV shows. He's best known for playing Greek crime boss Victor Kiriakis on "Days of Our Lives."

The farm is offering an $1,800 reward for Squiggy's return. Funny Farm Rescue houses more than 600 animals and is a popular place for families to visit.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is holding lotteries for rare, limited-release whiskeys, including Van Winkle bourbon from Kentucky's Buffalo Trace distillery. Pennsylvania residents and licensees of legal drinking age can enter the lotteries until 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18. The PLCB will notify all winning and non-winning entries by email in the following weeks.

The eastbound lanes of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge have reopened hours after a tractor-trailer overturned late Monday morning, leading to a full closure of the bridge heading into New Jersey. Crews remained at the scene into Monday afternoon and the Delaware River Port Authority had advised motorists to use alternate routes into New Jersey from Pennsylvania.

New Jersey may reintroduce black bear hunting in designated areas, citing increased populations and dispersal into areas inhabited by people. The growing number of black bears, primarily in North Jersey, has resulted in an increasing number of human interactions, raising concerns about relying solely on non-lethal wildlife management methods. Environmental groups and animal rights activists are opposed to bringing back the bear hunt, which would return in December if approved by the New Jersey Fish & Wildlife Council.
