Ryan Jastrzembski, an 11-year-old Mount Laurel boy, suffered severe burns after he caught fire in an incident involving a backyard bonfire on Monday evening. The boy poured gasoline on the bonfire, causing the gas can to explode as his body was covered in flames, police said. A GoFundMe campaign created to support Jastrzembski's recovery has received more than $125,000 in donations.

Violent crime and homicides fell during the eight years Ramsey led the Philadelphia Police Department, but violence since has soared, impacting the safety of Temple's community in North Philly.

A $5 million winner was sold at a Wawa store in Bensalem, a $3 million winner was sold at a Walmart in Northeast Philadelphia and a $1 million winner was sold at a Landis Supermarket in Schwenksville.

After postponing her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, Adele is reportedly having relationship issues with Rich Paul, the Klutch Sports Group founder who represents NBA stars including LeBron James and disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers holdout Ben Simmons. Celebrity gossip site Page Six reported that sources said Adele couldn't get through a recent rehearsal because she was on the phone sobbing to Paul.

The Atlantic City Skate Zone, a home to ice hockey players and figure skaters since the late 1990's, could close as soon as early March if an agreement isn't reached by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and the the ice rink's operate, Black Bear Sports Group. Families and hockey players are petitioning to save the ice rink, which sits on the 150-acre Bader Field site whose redevelopment has stalled for years.

A Pennsylvania woman is receiving medical treatment after she came into contact with monkeys after a truck crash in Danville, where several long-tailed macaques escaped from a trailer and resulted in an extensive search. Michele Fallon, who was exposed to monkey feces and urine, was urged by the CDC to seek medical attention. The monkeys can carry herpes B virus.

Philadelphia police are investigating the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Hyram Hill, the son of a Philadelphia police officer who was killed early Monday morning near the corner of Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue. District Attorney Larry Krasner said the victim was shot nine times in the incident. No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered at the scene.

The Blue Cross Broad Street Run will take place on May, 1 2022. Registration for this year's event will begin in early February, the exact date will be announced soon. The 10-mile race return sto the spring for the first time in two years. The Broad Street Run was took place virtually in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and was rescheduled in 2021, when it was held as a hybrid event last October.

Bucks County Commissioners have adopted a new ordinance that places stricter regulations on massage parlors that may be engaging in illicit sex work or human trafficking. The measure is the first county-level regulation of its kind in Pennsylvania.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office has opened an investigation into a fatal car crash in Cheltenham Township on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022. The crash along Greenwood Avenue killed Nicholas Bednarek, 20, of Abington and injured four others, including the driver. Police said they found open containers of alcohol in the car.
