New Jersey dog, missing for two weeks, found swimming in Barnegat Bay

A golden retriever that was reported missing by his family in Brick Township, New Jersey more than two weeks ago was rescued Tuesday morning in the Barnegat Bay, about 20 miles away. State troopers received a report that three-year-old Chunk was swimming in the area of the Mantoloking Bridge. He was "ecstatic" to be reunited with his family, police said.

Chester County mom, two kids found safe after they were reported missing, police say

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for Shannon Lake and her two young children, who left their home in New London Township, Chester County, earlier this month and were last seen in the Kensington section of Philadelphia on June 18. The mother and her two kids have been reported missing.

Cape May to turn historic Franklin Street School into county library

The Franklin Street School, a symbol of segregation in Cape May, will be converted into a branch of the Cape May County Library System. Built in 1927, the school was segregated until 1948, when New Jersey amended its Constitution to outlaw school segregation. New Jersey designated the building an African-American Historic Site.

Suspected gunman found dead on SEPTA tracks after shooting on Market-Frankford Line

A man was shot early Monday morning on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line in the area of Arrott Transportation Center in Northeast Philadelphia, police said. A short time after the shooting, the suspected gunman was found dead on the train tracks after he was apparently struck.

Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins took a swipe at Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid on Sunday night after his team advanced to the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals. At a post-game press conference, Collins wore a graphic T-shirt depicting his Game 6 ally oop dunk over Embiid.

Wawa, 2SP Brewing Co. team up on Sunfest Strawberry Lemonade Shandy

Wawa and 2SP Brewing Company have teamed up to create the Sunfest Strawberry Lemonade Shandy, their first summer brew since they started collaborating on beverages a few years ago. The beach-themed drink, based on Wawa's strawberry lemonade, will be unveiled on Thursday, June 24 at Wawa's new store in South Philadelphia. It will be available June 28 at select stores in Southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Eastern Shore Maryland.

The Philadelphia Union will play Welsh soccer team Wrexham AFC on July 29 at Subaru Park in Chester.
