Chad Salsman, the district attorney in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, district attorney has been charged with sexual assault for allegedly abusing his power to compel clients to perform sex acts on him. A Pennsylvania investigating grand jury interviewed multiple women who provided testimony alleging a pattern of sexual assault and coercion when Salsman was a defense attorney.

More Philadelphia pharmacies will soon be providing COVID-19 vaccines to seniors over age 75 as the health department expands its vaccination effort. The city also plans to hold a new series of mass vaccination clinics in the weeks ahead and has encouraged hospitals to use up their vaccine supplies.

Abandoned railroad tracks in Cape May's Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area surfaced on Sunset Beach this week in the midst of the winter storm along the East Coast. The tracks date back more than a century and were used for sand mining and munitions testing during World War I.

Pennsylvania-based Yuengling has debuted Raging Eagle Mango Beer, a 6% ABV pilsner brewed with natural fruit flavor and classic hops. The beer is now available in 24-ounce cans and will be released in other pack configurations later in 2021, as the company prepares to expand to western states.

Ryan Samsel, 37, of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has been charged for his alleged involvement in the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6 in Washington, D.C. Samsel is accused of toppling a police barricade and opening a path for rioters to approach the Capitol, as well as knocking a police officer to the ground. The officer suffered a concussion as a result.

As a nor'easter sweeps across Pennsylvania, a 67-year-old Allentown woman was found dead in the street from hypothermia on Monday morning, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. In Luzerne County, a husband and wife were shot to death by a neighbor over a disagreement about snow removal, prosecutors say. The shooter was found dead a short time later inside his home in Plains Township.
