Man arrested after breaking into FOX29 studio with sledgehammer, police say

Philadelphia police arrested a 58-year-old man who allegedly used a sledgehammer to break into the FOX29 studio on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020. Investigators said the man was subdued by a witness and later taken into custody after a taser was deployed by a SEPTA police officer.

Driver sought in hit-and-run that killed woman in Cheltenham

Cheltenham Township police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on Cheltenham Avenue on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Philadelphia resident Shanna Hurdle. Investigators are looking for a white 2019 or 2020 GMC Acadia.
