Two teenagers shot near Olney High School early Monday morning

Two teenage boys are in critical condition after being shot near Olney High School's athletic fields early Monday morning, Philadelphia police said. Authorities are looking for four suspects who fled in an SUV. Police recovered 26 shell casings at two scenes located several blocks apart.

Adventure Aquarium offers free annual membership program for preschoolers

The Adventure Aquarium in Camden opened registration Monday for its Pre-K Kids Adventure Pass, which offers a year of free admission for children ages 2 to 5. Parents can register online and need to show proof of age at the box office.

Fishtown to string lights over several segments of Frankford Avenue

The Fishtown Business Improvement District plans to install solar-powered string lights over several streets in the neighborhood. The first set of lights, which cost $6,500, are going up on the 2400 block of Frankford Avenue in September. The lights can change color and be controlled by a phone app.

New Jersey man allegedly stole a plane and crashed it in Atlantic County

Robert Wagner, 42, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, is facing charges for allegedly stealing an airplane from a hanger in Pemberton, Atlantic County on Tuesday and crashing it Wednesday in Corbin City. Police say he confessed to stealing the plane and to two burglaries.

Shark sighting in Cape May Point causes temporary beach closure

A 6-foot shark was spotted in shallow waters at Cape May Point on Monday, causing a beach to close until it swam further out into the ocean. Several other sharks have been spotted at the Jersey Shore this summer, including basking sharks.
