Police release video of one suspect in armed robbery of Temple students

Police say thieves took cash, marijuana

Police have identified one suspect in the armed robbery of a Temple student Tuesday night.

Police released surveillance video Thursday of one of the two suspects believed to be involved in the armed robbery of three Temple students.

The incident occurred Thursday at about 10 p.m. on the 1500 block of N. 13th St. during a home break-in. Two men, ages 21 and 23, and a 22-year-old woman returned to the home, where two men armed with handguns forced their way inside.

Police said the thieves took $5,000 cash and a quarter-pound of marijuana, Philly.com reports. No one was injured during the robbery.

Surveillance video captured one of the suspects leaving the area on foot.

The first suspect is described by police as a black male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black skull cap, gloves and armed with a handgun.

The second suspect (shown in the video) is described as a black male, about 20 years old, with short cropped black hair and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gloves.
