Turnpike reopens after deadly crash near Bensalem

A crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike took the life of one person and injured three construction workers early Saturday morning, according to multiple reports.

A car drove in to a truck carrying the construction workers just before 6 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near the Bensalem interchange, 6 ABC reports.

The driver was killed, and one of the workers was flown to Temple University Hospital to be treated. Another worker was transported by ambulance, while another was treated on the scene, NBC Philadelphia reports

The Turnpike's eastbound lanes near the interchange are now open after closing for several hours.
