Music venue World Cafe Live will host the all-ages show "Philadelphia's Belly Dance Spectacular" on Friday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. Live music from the band Animus will accompany the dance performance.
The musical group blends ancient and modern sounds, pulling strongly from Eastern Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Latin music. Traditional elements are fused with percussive rock, funk, jazz and blues to create the band's unique style.
Tickets for the show are general admission seating. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for guests who wish to dine, drink or hang out before the show.
