National Watch & Clock Museum video shows a guest accidentally knocking a museum clock off a wall.

Unless you're visiting Philadelphia's Please Touch Museum, you probably already know that touching collectibles is often prohibited, as doing so risks damaging the works.

Well, one museum guest at the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania, may not have gotten the memo, or else he simply disregarded it when he accidentally caused a large clock on display to fall to the ground and lose some of its parts.

The National Watch & Clock Museum shared the surveillance video showing the man, who appears to be checking out the clock with a woman, touching the piece several times before it tumbled to the ground.

Along with the video, the museum posted a message that read, "This is why we beg and plead with our visitors to please refrain from touching objects in museums," adding that the couple did notify museum staff about the mishap.

There is no word on the extent of the damage or whether the clock is back in working condition.
