Spiked slushies are now a thing at Chaddsford Winery

A new summer drink made with red or white wine

A frozen drink is refreshing on hot summer days.

On the hottest summer days, you need more than just the average chilled drink. Frozen beverages steal the show mid-summer, providing the right amount of chill to balance out the heat.

Margaritas and pina coladas are a common go-to, but Chaddsford Winery wants to switch things up. The new drink of summer 2016 is the wine slushy.

Each alcoholic slushy will be $8 and if you want to go home and whip up some wine slushies later, you can purchase the wine used for 20-percent off.

Wine Slushy Weekend

There will be an Orange Creamsicle Slushy made with white wine and a Grape Bubblegum Slushy made with red wine.
