A woman was critically burned in a fire that broke out in a Philadelphia home late Thursday night, NBC10 reports.
The fire started around 11:30 p.m. in a house along the 300 block of Upsal St. in Germantown.
Firefighters were able to get inside the flame-engulfed home to rescue the woman who was trapped inside. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition with second- and third-degree burns.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
