Police are investigating if there’s a connection between two home break-ins and sexual assaults reported within a few blocks of each other and with similar suspect descriptions in South Philadelphia, CBS Philly reports.

The latest incident was reported early Monday on the 1800 block of Rosewood Ave. Police say a 35-year-old woman was woken up by a strange man who stood over her bed, demanded money and then sexually assaulted her.

According to CBS Philly, the victim told police her attacker placed his hand over her mouth while assaulting her and wore a pair of red gloves, the latter a detail that was also described in a break-in and sexual assault a few blocks away on the 1700 block of Chadwick St. back in March.

In both cases, the suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a medium build.

The victim in the first incident was an elderly woman, according to CBS Philly.
