If you were looking for an excuse to celebrate this weekend, look no further. Friday, July 10, is National Pina Colada Day.
Sunny weather is expected, with little chance of getting caught in the rain, making it the perfect day for a bar crawl after work to sample some of the best coconut, pineapple and rum combinations Philadelphia has to offer.
Enjoy the warm weather and celebrate this famous cocktail with Puerto Rican origins at one of these five Philly bars.

From 6-8 p.m. they'll give you your first Pina Colada for free in a little plastic coconut, and their single servings will be $8 (normally $10). They've got also got a variety of Hawaiian-themed drinks, which matches the island themed decor, perfect for a mini-vacation from the city.

What's better than a Pina Colada? Pairing it with the dessert to match. Mixto has the classic cocktail you're looking for, plus a cake that compliments it perfectly. Their "slan coco" dessert is made of coconut custard and sprinkled with little pieces of coconut and cookies, making Mixto the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth with a drink to match.
431 South Street
Sure, the New Orleans inspired, frat house vibe might turn some people off. But that doesn't make their slushy cocktails any less potent, or their porch any worse for gazing upon those who stroll along South Street. Pina Colada is just one of the flavors they offer, with their High Octane mix being the one that will hit you the hardest. If you're looking to party this weekend, Fat Tuesday is the place to go.
