Police are searching for an SUV driver they say hit a SEPTA bus in Feltonville and fled early Wednesday morning, CBSPhilly reports.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. along Roosevelt Boulevard, near Rising Sun Avenue.
According to witnesses, the driver of a red Ford Edge cut off the Route R bus as it was traveling north on the Boulevard and struck the front of the bus. The driver then fled the scene on foot, police said.
The bus driver and four passengers were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The incident remains under investigation.
