The only thing better than a donut is a free donut.
This Friday is National Donut Day, and Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme are both giving out their delicious, deep-fried products for free.
Dunkin' requires the purchase of one beverage to get a free treat, but Krispy Kreme's offer doesn't appear to have strings attached. According to the company's website, free donuts will be available in stores all across the United States, Canada, Australia, Korea, and six other countries.
Except, for some reason, KK’s offer excludes Connecticut. What did they do to deserve that?
Federal Donuts will, sadly, not be giving out free donuts, but they are asking customers to vote on a favorite flavor to bring back. The choices are: Pomegranate Nutella, Marshmallow Marshmallow, Milk Chocolate Sea Salt, French Toast, Cookies and Cream, and the original version of Chocolate Peanut Butter donut.
