PA Coast Day Shaun Bailey/Partnership for the Delaware Estuary

Kayaks and pedal boats await riders at Pennsylvania Coast Day.

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary wants you to have fun on the river this season. They're presenting over 550 people with free boat rides and more on Pennsylvania Coast Day, Saturday, September 12.

For the special day, PDE is giving away over 350 tickets to the RiverLink Ferry and 150 tickets for the Patriot for narrated tours. They'll also be offering guests free kayaking and pedal boating in Penn’s Landing Marina. Free face painting, arts and crafts, exhibits and free shuttles to the Fairmount Water Works will be at the ready, too.

A fleet of LEGO ships will be hanging out at the Independence Seaport Museum for the day. Admission ($10-15) will get you up close and personal with the Teach Fleet, the world’s largest collection of LEGO model ships. For boating fans of all ages, it doesn't really get better than PA Coast Day.
