Homicide suspect not found after barricade of Brewerytown home

Shooter at large, not found in Girard Avenue home

A homicide suspect is still on the loose after a barricade at a Brewerytown home. 

According to NBC Philadelphia, the barricade began after the suspect fatally shot an unidentified victim inside an auto repair garage on the 2700 block of West Cabot Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The suspect was believed to be in a home on the 2700 block of Girard Avenue. NBC Philadelphia reports that a man was seen walking out of the home and was arrested.

Dann Cuellar of 6ABC tweeted photos of police and a SWAT team surrounding the barricaded home. 

According to 6ABC, the man arrested was not the suspect. Now, police are still searching for the at-large shooter as the investigation is ongoing.
