Everybody's favorite comedian John Mulaney is returning to "Saturday Night Live" for his second go at hosting on March 2.

Mulaney, who wrote on "SNL" for years, will join country singer Thomas Rhett on the episode.

Last time Mulaney was on the show he appeared in January with his new friend Pete Davidson. The two are such a weird, unlikely coupling that it makes for perfect comedy. Fingers crossed we see more of their shenanigans in March. Oh, we're also hoping for a lot of Ariana Grande jokes.

Here's what they did together last time.

Mulaney hosted for the first time back in April 2018 during season 43 and he blessed us with a couple of great sketches like "Diner Lobster."
