A woman and her two daughters were injured after being struck by a car Monday night in Lakewood, New Jersey, 6ABC reports.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the area of River Avenue and Edgewood Court.
The mother and the two girls, ages 1 and 4, were transported via helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
The girls are in serious condition, and the woman is stable.
Police said there is no indication the driver, who stopped nearby, was driving under the influence or speeding.
The incident is under investigation.
