Holiday classics play at the Roxy Theater all December long.

This December, the Philadelphia Film Society is celebrating the season with a holiday film series. Every Wednesday until Dec. 30 will be BYO: Tis the Season programming at the Roxy Theater. Five films have been chosen, and they range from alternative Christmas movies to holiday classics. Guests are invited to bring wine, champagne or beer to each screening, while the Roxy Theater will provide all glass wear.

Here is the BYO: Tis the Season lineup.

Lethal Weapon -- Dec. 2
Elf -- Dec. 9
Home Alone -- Dec. 16
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation -- Dec. 23
Edward Scissorhands -- Dec. 30

The holiday programming is offered for $10 general admission, $12 BYO admission and $8 for Philadelphia Film Society members ($10 BYO admission for PFS members). In Center City, there is also free metered street parking after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
