Police: Spitting, kung fu and backflips in fight over video game controller

Police in South Jersey were called to a fight over a video game controller that involved martial arts and spitting.

Authorities responded to a report of two males fighting at a home on the 200 block of N. Willow Street in Gloucester City on Dec. 21. Police said when they arrived, the two men, who were in their 30s, were no longer fighting.

Officers determined the argument was over a PlayStation 4 controller. During the disagreement, one man spat on the other's face.

The man who was spat on claimed he "blacked out" and began doing kung fu and backflips, damaging the other man's fence, police said.

The men decided not to file complaints against each other and the man who channeled his inner Bruce Lee agreed to fix the other man's fence.

No word on whether the missing PS4 controller was found.
