Swedish video game company Mojang announced Tuesday that it has chosen Rob McElhenney, best known as Mac on "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia," to direct its upcoming "Minecraft" movie.
McElhenney was apparently "hanging around MINECON" in London a couple weeks ago. The new film will be produced by "LEGO Movie" producer Roy Lee.

McElhenney has already hinted on Twitter what we can expect from the upcoming film, and Vu Bui, Mojang's chief operating officer, seems on board.
Hey @Mojang let's do something strange and wonderful.
