Season 7 of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" stands as one of the great feats of modern television acting.

Rob McElhenney, for the sake of Mac, rapidly packed on 52 pounds by consuming 5,000 calories a day. The idea was inspired by a realization that TV actors always seem to look better and better as shows progress. McElhenney wanted to embody a more realistic future for a guy like Mac, so he got fat — or, as he put it, "cultivated mass."

Did he really, though? Was it all a mirage? Have we been giving credit where it's not due?

McElhenney recently joined Instagram with an account that instantly figures to a be a great follow. In one of his first videos, he reveals that the whole Mac gaining lots of weight thing was actually the work of a stuntman. Yes, it was all the genius of Philadelphia Eagles center and Super Bowl parade legend Jason Kelce.

We know, it's been a long draught waiting for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" to return for Season 13. Fortunately, it's looking like McElhenney will use this Instagram account to provide updates on the gang's progress.

In the meantime, we can appreciate that Danny DeVito and the rest of this cast are some of the most fan interactive stars out there. Remember that girl who took the DeVito cardboard cutout to prom? Well, DeVito went ahead and took her to Paddy's Pub.
