Robert De Niro signing vodka bottles in Glen Mills Friday

De Niro helped create the vodka, VDKA 6100

Hollywood actor Robert De Niro will be nearby Friday signing bottles of VDKA 6100, a vodka brand he had a part in, at a Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, The News Journal reports.

The Academy Award-winning celebrity, who had roles in "The Godfather Part II," "Meet the Parents," "Raging Bull" and many more films, is also apparently into concocting specialty alcohol.

VDKA 6100 is made with a blend of “whey and natural spring water from Reporoa, New Zealand, with Australian spirits company Artisan Spirits Merchants,” The News Journal notes.

Since 2014, it’s been sold in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

A store employee told The News Journal that at 3:15 p.m. Friday, 300 customers will receive envelopes, 15 of which will hold a golden ticket. Those customers, selected at random, will get some face time with De Niro.
