Seven injured in crash on N.J. Turnpike in Mount Laurel

Seven people were injured in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mount Laurel Monday night, CBSPhilly reports.

The accident occurred near mile marker 32.6 in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike, north of Interchange 4 – NJ 73, officials said.

Seven injuries were reported. CBSPhilly reports that three people were taken to Cooper University Hospital, three people were taken to Virtua Hospital and one person refused treatment.

The extent of the injuries was not immediately known.

The right and center lanes were reportedly blocked. One lane of traffic was getting by at the scene, according to NBC10.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
