Sign up for the 2016 Broad Street Run lottery

The lottery will be open for 12 days, with no early registration advantages

The Blue Cross Broad Street Run in Philly.

Starting today, on Monday, Feb. 1, the 2016 Broad Street Run lottery is open for registration. Those planning to run in the 10-mile race on Sunday, May 1 need to register in the lottery to have a chance to participate. 

Registration will close on Friday, Feb. 12 and the lottery winners will be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

No matter what time you register within the 12-day time-frame, everyone has an equal chance to win a bib.

Tenured runners (those who have competed in the Broad Street Run for 10 years) also have to enter the lottery system but will be able to check for tenured eligibility if not picked.

When registering, everyone must fill out the entry form and include credit card information for the $45 entry fee, however, the card will not be charged unless entry into the race is accepted.
