Eagles 2020 NFL Draft preview: Tight end

In Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert the Eagles have the best 1-2 tight end combo in the NFL. As such, they are primed to run a whole lot of two-TE sets, as they did in 2019. If the Eagles are going to commit to a two-TE base offense for the foreseeable future, then they would be smart to add a third TE for depth.

Eagles 2020 NFL Draft preview: Wide receivers

As far as, "Which receivers make sense for the Eagles," the answer is probably, you know, all of them, since they have precisely zero surefire, long-term answers at the position. Receivers of all shapes, sizes, and skill sets are needed, though certainly, there should be a focus on speed.

Eagles 2020 NFL Draft preview: Running back

The Eagles currently only have three running backs on their roster. During 2019 training camp, they had eight, and they usually carry at least four, sometimes five, on their regular season roster. My conclusion? They're probably going to add more running backs.

Eagles 2020 NFL Draft preview: Quarterback

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be taking a look at each of the Philadelphia Eagles' positional groups. We'll determine if the Birds are likely to select a player at that position with one of their eight picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, as well as note some players who make sense. We'll start with quarterback, which is among the lowest positions on the Eagles' draft need totem pole, but still a potential spot that could be addressed with a developmental player.

Eagles new player (or current player with new role) series: Jatavis Brown edition

Those who follow the Chargers closely mostly think that Jatavis Brown had a very promising rookie season, but injuries and a scheme change perhaps stunted his growth. In 2019, there's really no way to sugarcoat his play. He was bad, as you'll see in this Twitter thread here.

In BGN Radio episode No. 114, Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation and I mainly focused on, what else, the Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver position.

Report: The Eagles tried to trade Alshon Jeffery last season

The timeline here is interesting, in that Roseman seemingly tried to deal Jeffery before "Josina Anderson Anonymous Report, Part II."

Eagles new player (or current player with new role) series: Genard Avery edition

During the offseason, we'll be taking a look at a handful of players who are either new to the Philadelphia Eagles, or are already with the team but we perhaps don't know a lot about them just yet. Here we'll cover DE/LB hybrid Genard Avery.

Mailbag: Should the Eagles extend Zach Ertz? Trade him? Or neither?

In our Eagles chat on Friday, there were a lot of questions that we could not get to in time or other questions we did answer but could use more color. And so, let's do a mailbag post to answer some of the overflow.

Eagles new player (or current player with new role) series: Matt Pryor edition

During the offseason, we'll be taking a look at a handful of players who are either new to the Philadelphia Eagles, or are already with the team but we perhaps don't know a lot about them just yet. We'll get the series started off with a bang, which obviously means... drum roll... Matt Pryor!
