Twitter reacts as New Jersey finally legalizes recreational marijuana

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed three bills legalizing and decriminalizing recreational marijuana on Monday, three months after voters overwhelmingly approved the measure in a ballot referendum. The move makes New Jersey the 13th state in the U.S. to legalize recreational cannabis.

SEPTA to debut smartphone payment for purchasing, reloading Key cards

SEPTA riders can begin using Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay at station kiosks and fare offices to purchase SEPTA Key cards or reload Travel Wallets, starting on Feb. 22. The change is part of SEPTA's larger initiative to enable customers to use a smartphone at turnstiles and fare boxes in lieu of the SEPTA Key card.

Two injured seals recovering after Jersey Shore beach rescues

Two injured seals were rescued from Jersey Shore beaches by the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, where they are both receiving treatment and are on the path to recovery. One of the animals, a harbor seal, was found at a beach in Strathmere, Cape May County on Feb. 4. The other seal was found Feb. 11 in Belmar.
