More than 100 selections of wine, beer, cider available at zoo event

Here's your chance to play beer pong in the zoo

The Elmwood Park Zoo will host Tapped Philadelphia on Sept. 24. During the event, those 21-plus will be able to drink wine, beer and cider in the zoo. Between samples, attendees can explore or feed the animals.

Giraffe feedings will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and again at 6-7:00 p.m, while bison feeding is scheduled for 2-2:30 p.m. Feeding tickets can only be purchased in advance.

Tapped guests will also have an opportunity to enjoy live music from Great Big House and play games like giant Jenga, corn hole and beer pong.

Tickets are $39 per person for general admission, which includes three hours of beer, wine and cider tastings in the zoo. VIP tickets include early access to the event.

Food can be purchased separately.

There are two different sessions to choose from when purchasing tickets: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 5-9 p.m.
