"A Snowy Walk through Rittenhouse Square."

The start of 2017 has been troubling for Rittenhouse Square, usually such a peaceful place to duck away from the commotion of the streets and whatever you call work.

Backed by Mayor Kenney, the people of Philadelphia won an embarrassing subtextual battle last month over the right to sit on the square's recently restored walls. Then on Monday, a naked man carjacked a cab and drove it through the park in broad daylight until he was subdued by a brigade of vigilant citizens.

What happened to the place where you read, you know, short stories and let ants crawl across your palm?

Thanks to local videographer Cory J. Popp, Rittenhouse Square's pristine image is fresh on the road to rehabilitation. Popp popped over to the park in the middle of Thursday's winter storm to get some footage of the beauty therein. He's filmed there previously in the fall, but his latest video goes to show how magical it is when there's snow falling.

The best part of this montage is the dogs. They can't get enough of the snow. Good for them.
