Coming to Philly: Four-day festival of animated films by women

The festival will include five animated features and 30 short films.

Do you love animated films and games? Then you won’t want to miss the “Women in Animation Film Festival” taking place from March 23-26 at Moore College of Art & Design.

The four-day festival will include five animated features and 30 short films created by women, meet-the-artist discussions, an Adobe Creative Jam and a panel discussion comprised of female game designers. All of the events will be held in Stewart Auditorium on the college campus and are open to the public. The best part? Admission is free!

6:30 p.m. Panel Discussion: “Game Changers: Women Making Games”

Friday, March 24

7 p.m. “Window Horses”

Saturday, March 25

1 p.m. Emily Hubley screens works by Faith Hubley & Shorts Program: “All Our Lives Combined”

5:30 p.m. Adobe Creative Jam Tournament & Presentations

8:30 p.m. "Jessica Ciocci’s Animation Mix Tape" & Shorts Program: “What Keeps Us Up at Night?”

Sunday, March 26

2 p.m. “Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time” & Shorts Program: “The Heart That Smiles”
