The Ferris wheel is a main attraction at the Flyers Wives Carnival. This year, it will be joined by a carousel.

This season, the 40th Flyers Wives Carnival won't be held in February or March. Instead, the charity event will take place on Nov. 6 at the Wells Fargo Center.

During the carnival, Flyers fans are able to mingle with players while enjoying a six-story-high Ferris wheel, a carousel and games including water guns, fun house mirrors, balloon darts and a strongman attraction.

At the 39th Carnival, a new option was introduced for meeting players. Attendees can now pre-purchase and guarantee autograph sessions with any member of the Flyers roster. Plus, the fan-favorite shot-on-goal and mystery bags are also available in advance.

Currently, limited photo/autograph combo tickets remain for Jakub Voracek and Wayne Simmonds, two feature players available in combo booths.

General admission tickets to the carnival are $15 for children and $20 for adults. However, tickets for early admission to the carnival can be purchased for $35 per person. These tickets allow entry to the carnival at 1:30 p.m. General admission ticket holders can enter at 3 p.m. The carnival ends at 6.

Proceeds from the Flyers Wives Carnival allow Flyers Charities to assist local beneficiaries like Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Police Athletic League and many others.

The Flyers play an away game against the Montréal Canadiens the day before and will play at the Wells Fargo Center on Nov. 8, two days after the carnival.
