Science is beautiful, and sometimes it can be easy. And if you're looking for a simple activity with colorful results to decorate your apartment for spring, start with a flower. Specifically, get yourself a white carnation.
Then, all it takes is some food color, water and a vase to change that flower into any color you want. After you have everything, watch this video to see how to create a bouquet with any combination of hues you desire:
