Video: Kanye interrupted when comedian runs out on stage at festival

Kanye West may have gotten a taste of his own medicine Saturday when the rapper was performing at a music festival in England.

British comedian Simon Brodkin, known for his stand-up comedy character Lee Nelson, ran out on stage during Kanye's performance at the Glastonbury Festival, interrupting his performance of the song "Black Skinhead."

West briefly stopped the show when Brodkin ran out on stage as security escorted him off. Watch the video here:

Brodkin tweeted a photo of himself following his stunt.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Brodkin was referring to an online petition against Kanye headlining the festival and demanding a rock band instead. The petition on Change.org has garnered more than 130,000 signatures.

Brodkin also tweeted a picture of his stage invasion, referencing West's interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
