Have a slice of cake.

Purchase a ticket to the annual Let Them Eat Cake fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 24, to help Variety - The Children's Charity, and as a bonus you'll get to sample delicious, creative cakes.

Twenty-five of the area's best pastry chefs will compete in a cake-off at the Loews Hotel’s Millennium Ballroom. This year, all the cakes must fit the theme "Under the Sea."

Guests can taste all the creations, while sipping on wine and cocktails. The event will feature live music and an apperance by Philadelphia Eagles' mascot Swoop, too.

Tickets are $40 in advance, and $50 at the door. All proceeds will go to Variety Works, which helps teens and young adults with disabilities learn real job skills.

A panel of experts will determine this year's Best in Show cake winner based on taste, theme, aesthetic, creativity and use of ingredients. Additional awards will be given for Best Tasting Cake, Best Design, Best Theme, Best Student Entry and Audience Choice Award.
