Prince Theater to livestream Oscars

Get dressed up and pretend you're really attending the 88th Academy Awards

An Oscar Statuette at the 88th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton hotel on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, in Beverly Hills, Calif. The Oscars will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016.

The Philadelphia Film Society is hosting a black tie optional, 21-plus viewing party Feb. 28 for the 88th Academy Awards. The event will take place at the Prince Theater with a red carpet entrance.

Guests can sip Champagne, snack and enjoy live entertainment, as well as view the Oscars on the big screen. During commercial breaks, there will be Quizzo rounds.

General admission tickets are $45 in advance or $55 the day of the event and include Champagne, select signature cocktails and light snacks. VIP tickets are also on sale for $75 and include extra perks like premium seating, an exclusive bar and buffet and a gift bag. Those who are PFS members can receive discounted tickets for either category.
