23-year-old Kimberly Quade, of Dover, was found dead on the morning of Tuesday, October 6, 2015, across from the New Castle County Airport.

New Castle police have identified the body of a young woman discovered across from the New Castle County Airport on Tuesday and are continuing to investigate her death.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Kimberly Quade, of Dover, was found between a gas station and a farmers market on the 100 block of Sunset Boulevard, 6 ABC reports. According to police, the discovery was made by a man exiting a bus around 6 a.m. on his way to work.

Investigators say Quade appeared to have bruises on the front of her head and was partially undressed, wearing only one shoe, a pink top and disheveled jeans.

Police are focusing their investigation on the location where the body was found and a stretch of roadway approximately 30 feet away, where they found shards of broken glass and swabbed apparent blood spots on the pavement.

Pending the results of an autopsy, police are treating the crime as a death investigation, not a homicide, though that may change.

Police are also seeking to obtain surveillance video from area.
