The Irish Fall Festival is held annually in North Wildwood.

Police in North Wildwood are advising visitors to the town for the Irish Fall Festival this weekend to speak up if they see suspicious activity.

As part of its "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign, police are reminding guests that they can call the department at 609-522-2411 or notify a police officer on duty at the festival. If there is an emergency, guests should call 9-1-1. Describe specifically what you observed, including who or what was seen, when and where it was observed, and why it's suspicious.

The following restrictions are in place for the festival, which runs from Friday to Sunday, police said.

Olde New Jersey Avenue from 2nd Avenue to Pine Avenue will be closed all three days of the event. Motorists are asked to be aware of pedestrians crossing the street in and around the festival area.

In addition:

• Backpacks and coolers are NOT permitted inside the festival area

• Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages into the festival site

• Open display of alcoholic beverages outside the festival area is prohibited

• Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted on buses and trolleys

Trolley and bus service (3rd and New Jersey avenues) along with taxi service (4th and New Jersey avenues) will be available to and from the festival area. Free parking for the festival will be set up on Anglesea Drive.
