Join us for live updates of baseball's Opening Day as the Phillies open the 2015 season against the Red Sox at 3:05 p.m.

Cole Hamels will start the season on the mound for the Phillies against Clay Bucholtz for Boston. Former Phillie Shane Victorino is expected to start in right field for the Sox, marking the first time he'll face his old team at Citizens Bank Park since being traded to the Dodgers at the 2012 trade deadline.

Here's a look at the Phillies Opening Day lineup:

  1. Ben Revere, LF
  2. Odubel Herrera, CF
  3. Chase Utley, 2B
  4. Ryan Howard, 1B
  5. Carlos Ruiz, C
  6. Grady Sizemore, RF
  7. Cody Asche, 3B
  8. Freddy Galvis, SS
  9. Cole Hamels, P

First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m., but will likely be later than that thanks to the standard pregame festivities that come along with Opening Day. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by eight-year-old Kyle Shanahan of Warrington, who has quite an inspirational story.

Fans heading to the park are in for a treat -- at least when it comes to the weather -- with plenty of sunshine expected and temperatures remain in the upper 60s throughout the game. The last time the Phillies opened the season at home (April 1, 2011 vs. Nationals), temperatures were in the mid-40s most of the day, with a high of 48 degrees and a low 35 degrees that day.

And now, on to some live updates of the game:
