Philadelphia Dance Day 2017 will take place on Saturday, July 29. More than 35 free dance workshops will be held throughout the day.
There are salsa lessons, an aqua Zumba class, bellydancing 101, a striptease class, hip-hop sessions and more options.
No need to register. The workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can do as many as you like.
At the end of the day, there will be a showcase and dance party at the Ethical Society building on Rittenhouse Square. A $5 donation is requested for the evening events and includes refreshments.
The showcase starts at 8:30 p.m. and the open dance party begins at 10 p.m.
